TurboGrafx-16 Games Coming To iPhone This Winter (With A Free Game!)

By Spencer . December 13, 2010 . 4:11pm

imageHudson is bringing their library of TurboGrafx-16 games to the iPhone via the TurboGrafx Gamebox. The app comes out this winter and comes with World Sports Competition.

Did we mention the app is free?

The app and World Sports Competition won’t cost you an iTunes dime. Additional games will be $3.99 a piece and Hudson has 15 of them set for launch with more games coming in the future. No titles have been announced, but I guess Hudson will probably start with classics like Bonk and Bomberman.

iPhone? Aww come on. I wish these would get released for the PSN so I could play them on my PSP. Sure some of these titles are on the Wii Virtual console but for me the amazing thing is playing a game on a real hand held (PSP/DS) that I use to have to play on a TV with a console 4x the size of what I am currently using. Not sure why but i just find that really cool, like the first time i played SOTN on my PSP, it was amazing.
