Namco Bandai made a deal with MobageTown to bring make a social version of God Eater. The PSP game looks like this…

… and this is God Eater Mobile.

The mobile phone game has an original story, but the same goal – slaying Aragami. Like other social games, God Eater Mobile is free to play, but uses a pay per item model. MobageTown also hosts Persona 3 Social, Shenmue Town, and soon a Muramasa: The Demon Blade spinoff.

It’s a mobile social game. What was you going to expect? Something flashy? On par with the PSP? I don’t think so lol.

iPhone game quality! Wait, that’s not saying much either.

which would be fine except the mobile social games are designed for all manner of mobile phones, not just iPhone, so they wouldn’t be able to create iPhone game quality. And again, it’s a social game, which aren’t known for quality graphics in the first place.

Now there’s even a poor man’s version of the poor man’s version of Monster Hunter. Classico!

Except God Eater is fast and fun where Monster Hunter is slow and dull…

all we need is a God Eater PS3 game and that would make capcom, sega and square making a PS3 version of their own games(Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star and Lord of Arcana)

Phantasy Star Online 2. Sega’s ahead of the game, though I think PSO2 is for PC. No complaints here though.
