Great Balls Of Fire, That’s A Flying Rock!

By Spencer . December 14, 2010 . 1:10pm

While rolling through enemy territory, the grinning boulder in Rock of Ages can grab powerups to set buildings ablaze. The fireball powerup shown in this trailer makes the rock deal double damage. Grab a petroleum powerup to contaminate fields.

Curious to see what kind of levels Ace Team, developers of Zeno Clash, make for the wings. An item like that should allow them to design secret areas and alternate routes.

Rock of Ages comes out on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and PC next spring. For more information about Ace Team’s game check out our Rock of Ages interview.

rar, it reminds me of the early PS1 days back when you saw some more experimental games. I’m moderately tempted to look into this just because it seems like it’ll be really fun, and different >w<'

Nothing beats wings on a boulder.
    Except zombie boulder.
    Or Killer Rabbit…
Which should totally be a power up.

Ah…..reminds me of Dragon Warrior 7.

    Non-stick Katamari… unless there’s a glue powerup.
I wonder if it controls similarly, too.
