image Square Enix hit Secret of Mana with a midge mallet and created an iPhone version. This version of Secret of Mana has a few interface changes like a virtual joystick, element icons on the side, and character portraits in the ring menus. Otherwise it’s Secret of Mana on the go.

Secret of Mana for iPhone looks a bit different than the mobile phone version Square Enix released in Japan last year. It’s available now for $8.99 on the iPhone app store.

True that. I think the title was a bit misleading, perhaps to get people to click and read the article. It worked on me though.

“This just in, we’re very poor!”

I wish that they’d do an enhanced port of SoM someday.
Better be careful what I wish for, it might come true and I’d regret it enormously.

  • Again, hopefully the controls won’t spoil one of the best RPG’s ever. But as someone said, an enchanced version for the Nintendo DS/3DS would be awesome :D

Just no 3D graphics Square Enix if you choose to go that route :D
