Just like Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble, Kenka Bancho 5: Way of an Honorable Man puts you in the shoes of a high school delinquent. When you’re taking a break from beating up students from other schools and part-time jobs, you can take care of an abandoned puppy.

 

After you find the puppy in a box you can raise it. Menu options let you feed the puppy or take it for a walk.

        Ok, but seriously, I often see the whole animal-in-the-box thing in anime or manga, and I was wondering if there was some actual basis for that.

          It’s just a clear way of expressing innocence and abandonment. In the western tradition, it can be found all the way back to Moses left at the shore of the Nile.

      Well… yeah. I mean, you’re a BADASS BANCHO.
      It’s a simple game and from what I remember there was plenty to do in the time frame you had to complete the game. Replay value is there, too.

      No puppies here, though. Hopefully, Atlus might want to pick it up at some point…?
