Bit.Trip Flux Is A "Music Paddle Game"

By Spencer . December 30, 2010 . 7:38am

imageThanks to the ESRB, we know a bit more about Bit.Trip Flux. The rating board explains Gaijin Games’ next WiiWare title is a "music paddle game."

Players move a paddle up and down to deflect flying dots. Each time a dot hits your paddle it makes a beat that syncs up with the soundtrack. Sounds like Pong meets Rez without a second paddle.

The Bit.Trip games have always intrigued me. I liked Rez, and experimental games in general, so I’ll probably like these.

    i love music games :D

    looks interesting.

as long it’s not guitar hero, dj hero. games like DJ Max, Guitar Freaks, Beatmania, DDR are the true music games not this crap.

Hmm… If I had a Move at the moment. I’d just go with Beat Sketcher, it seems curiously interesting.

Though I’ve no idea how pleasant it can be to the ears, nor this one.

In the end, for these games, it depends on both adequate gameplay and good sound with a greater importance to the latter…

Wasn’t Bit.Trip Beat already like that?
