PlayStation Move Heroes Shakes Up Stores This March

imagePlayStation Move Heroes brings together three of Sony Computer Entertainment’s fuzzy franchises into one motion controlled action game.

The game, developed by ex-Starcraft: Ghost developers Nihilistic Software, turns the PlayStation Move controller into different kinds of weapons. You can use it as a point-and-shoot gun, whip, bowling ball style weapon or Sly’s cane through fifty levels.

First announced at E3 under the name Heroes on the Move, PlayStation Move Heroes showed up in Famitsu with a release date. The game comes out in Japan sometime this March under the name Gachinko Heroes. Usually, Sony Computer Entertainment releases games close together so, perhaps, we’ll see this PlayStation Move title in March too.

Characters confirmed for the game include: Ratchet and Clank from Ratchet & Clank, Sly and Bentley from Sly Cooper, and Jak and Daxter from Jak & Daxter.

  • Wow I need to get this game…well first, I need to get Ratchet and Clank Future series (I have Quest for Booty) and Sly Cooper Collection. I didnt play Quest For Booty, but are both series good? Im surprised Jak & Daxter have had no debut on the PS3 yet.

But another game with move support is a must buy for me.

    • I seriously think Jack and Daxter is 1000000 times better than Ratched and Clank -.- they should freaking have their own game (on the ps3)

      • I couldn’t agree more. I’ve had so much more fun with the Jak and Daxter games. And releasing a HD Trilogy of those games would be awesome. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

  • Maybe Heroes on The Move will be the game that makes Move Move at retail!
    Maybe not!

    • Move has moved at retail, it was sold out for months on Amazon (individually) and is still hard to find in stores :( Im still trying to find one.

      • I amuses me when I hear all this talk of both of them selling out, when I went to a local Best Buy the day before Christmas and saw two Moves and four Kinects, just sitting there on the self. When I went yesterday, it appeared only one of each had been sold.

Maybe they’re selling out in smaller areas, but in New York City, I could probably buy both tomorrow if I wanted.

When “they” say “sold” out, they mean that Sony is sold out of “made” consoles by retailers, until they make more consoles. So when you see them at Best Buy, that is not the point ! You will still see them in retail stores!

        • Ive not even seen Kinects at Bestbuy. Unless Bestbuy has Move and Kinects hidden somehwere (do I have to talk to an associate to find where they are hiding the units), no matter what store I went to, Sears, Target, WalMart, Bestbuy, the naval exchange, Amazon online, Move was nowhere to be seen. Subcontrollers were everywhere.

  • Is this MOVE controller only or has it been said anything about being able to use a DS3 controller? Sure I know it takes away the point of the game, but I do not have a MOVE controller and all that. And I’m not so interested in getting it yet.

i would love to see No More Heroes Paradise 2, Metal Gear Solid Rising, Demon Souls 2, Project Dark and Monster Hunter move support please :)

    • That would be nice, but the Monster Hunter and NMH2 would have to come to the PS3 first. Would love to see a MH game on the PS3 myself.

Heroes on the Move was a much better name… Still corny, though.

Yeah, you can get the Move pretty much any where! Looking forward to this game, I am happy to see they are coming out with more games for the Move.
