The Littlest Street Fighter IV Arcade Cabinet

By Spencer . January 6, 2011 . 1:02am

A tiny arcade cabinet running Street Fighter IV was on display at a pre-CES press event. See?

It fits nicely on a table, but only has one stick. Shall we take a close look at it?

Ah, the miniature arcade machine is actually a laptop! When you unlock the stick and flip it down you can see the keyboard. Not shown in the photos is a slide out drawer with a USB keyboard.

Any PC or emulated game would work with the machine. So, you could have a mini U.N. Squadron cabinet, but Lenovo has no plans to produce or sell pint-size arcade kits.

    that’s sooo tiny :D

though it might make you concentrate on the game more due to it’s small size :)

I think every PC gamer who sees that picture of a SSF4 running on a laptop is gonna be royally pissed off

    • That’s vanilla SF4, though, not Super.

    • Also, I think your vastly overestimating the popularity of beat ’em ups on PC. Sure there are some that would have liked to have seen SSF4 on the PC but they are the minority. The rest just shrug.

Also, while they are missing out on extra characters and enhanced features by not having SSF4, They can still get a lot of enjoyment due to modding, the one thing console counterparts lack.

That laptop must be really good at dispersing heat.

Haha! I want one >w<' Not for SF4 but possibly for a good handful of other games, too bad most of them aren't PC games TpT; It reminds me, me and a friend were talking on new years about making a fight stick, after he showed me his own custom keyboard he was working on. rar, I think were TOTALLY going to make a fight stick with aircraft toggles~!

Because nothing will be more epic then getting killed in Blazblue, well trying to fumble with a toggle to burst +o+~!

  • So they made it to show that they can and you can’t…Fair enough.
