Pride May Be Cain’s Downfall In Tale Of The Last Promise

By Spencer . January 10, 2011 . 10:35am

Before we introduce a new character, this is a video of Rushdie. He’s a close friend of Wolf, the protagonist in Tale of the Last Promise.

image Cain is also part of the Messiah Knights. Just a year ago he was a rookie graduate from a military academy. Cain was top of his class and even skipped a grade, but he’s overconfident about his skills. Known for being proud and fired up with youth, Cain may have to shed some of his pride for the sake of the whole group.

Imageepoch has been rolling out character profiles every couple days, but still haven’t shown much of the gameplay. We do know Imageepoch’s game is a dungeon RPG with first person perspective battles, though.

  • Rushidie!!! Anyway, darn, I should know this game wouldnt retain would I thought to be the designation of the perfect handheld RPG of 2011. The mouths on the character portraits dont move during the talking moments :( I am disappoint. I love that and when they have the characters blink too, it is my favorite innovation in non CGI in game engine cutscenes for handhelds.

Still can not wait for the English announcement, hopefully we get it fully voiced.

  • Did he also kill his brother?

Their outfits make me think of Valkyria Chronicles

In before Cain betrays the team and becomes a bad guy. Come on, you can’t have a guy named Cain and not have them betray/get brainwashed.

  • Im gonna get him killed on the first battle for skipping a year, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU AREEE??

  • He’s part of a group called the “Messiah Knights”. Who isn’t going to have an ego when your part of a team that pretty much says “we’re badass and we’re pretty much your only hope”

  • PrinceHeir

    looks awesome :D

definitely interested in this game :)
