A New Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Challenger Enters The Ring

By Spencer . January 12, 2011 . 3:02am

The Luchadora seen in the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 teaser trailer is a brand new character. A snippet from Famitsu introduces her and reveals her name. Depending on how you read the katakana it could be J.C. or Jaycee.

The magazine also has a picture of young Heihachi, but doesn’t say if he is an extra character or not.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will make its debut in arcades this summer.

  • Jaycee….not bad. Not as flashy as El Blaze, El Fuerte, La Mariposa or El/La anything in Spanish. lol

Makes me ask…How will she fit in the current Tekken Continuity?

    • raymk

      Its probably not going to.

  • old face young body

  • J.C. … Julia Chang

    • I was wondering when someone was going to notice what’s around her neck.

      • You are sooo right! That is her without a doubt. Same pendant

  • Guess its cool they revealed her name. I was just gonna call her question mark b!tch XD

  • Wow this is Julia indeed!
Notice the pendant around her neck!
    Yay Julia!!

  • Blatently julias alter ego!

i wonder how julia chang(assuming) made her way as a wrestler? but it’s tekken tag so it’s non canon to the series.

i cannot wait for them to add maybe Jun, Ogre, and Devil Kazuya :)

Woah…My name is J.C. I sometimes even write my name out as Jaycee…I’m not a hot video game girl though…

  • Or it could be a red herring and that this wrestler stole the pendant and just happens to have the name “J.C.”

  • Young Heihachi is technically Old Heihachi, but his corporation had found some sort of anti-aging breakthrough, which is why he is young again.

It’s their way of handling the situation with Heihachi’s last VA dying, and as to why he sounds different.

How about some good netcode this time, Namco? Maybe get your DBZ Raging Blast team working on it. I’ve played online on the first game with a few different people and had no lag from any of them. Either they also had great connections are the netcode doesn’t suck like Tekken 6’s and Soul Calibur 4’s.
