Import Mega Man Game Now On The US PlayStation Store

imageCapcom jumped on the digital imports band wagon with a rare version of Mega Man, Rockman: Complete Works. This title is an enhanced port of the original Mega Man for PsOne with a few extra features like the ability to save your game and get hints in Navi mode.

While Capcom didn’t release Rockman: Complete Works in North America, they put all of their classic Mega Man games on a PlayStation 2 / Xbox / Gamecube package called Mega Man Anniversary Collection.

But, if you want to play the original Rockman: Complete Works in Japanese you can get the game off the PlayStation Store for $5.99. Speaking of PsOne games, SNK added Metal Slug X to Sony Computer Entertainment America’s digital library for the same price. Both downloadable games are PSP and PlayStation 3 compatible.

    i want Megaman X4-X6 please :D

i wonder what will be the next Megaman after Legends?

  • Kris

Cool! I’d love to see SuperAdventure Rockman as a digital import though, I’ve never played it.

Really hope they also bring Megaman 2 and 3 Complete Works to the US, both were released in Japan. Sadly, 4-6 weren’t released on Japanese PSN yet.

I imported all of the Complete Works 1-6 series for PSX back in the day… oh, the memories!

    • Same here! I still play them now. =) I wonder how the PocketStation option would work on this… probably can’t…

  • hmm..

bu.. bu.. but where are Legends 1 & 2 and Misadventures of Tron Bonne?!

  • Apache_Chief

But…what? Why not just get the anniversary collection?

(also, it was released on Xbox, not Xbox 360)

    • Zero_Destiny

Exactly it’s on XBOX, PS2 and Gamecube. So if you got one that’s an option. Both the Megaman collection and Megaman X collections are great too. Megaman got 1-8 and X got 1-6 and there’s some bonus games (like Arcade and racing games) on both of them. What more could you want!!!

Last I checked, it was on the Xbox 360 backwards-compatibility list.

  • Zero_Destiny

Is this like the Wiley Wars on genesis or something? If not than I think hunting down the Anniversary collection might be the better option if you have a last gen system or a Wii.

  • I doubt hardcore Mega Man fans would call making a game easier an enhancement. Just saying.
