For The First Time, All Five Kages Appear In Naruto’s Nintendo 3DS Debut

By Spencer . January 26, 2011 . 1:02am

imageTomy will have a Naruto game ready around a month after the handheld’s launch in Japan. Naruto Shippuden: Nin-rittai Emake! Saikyou Ninkai Kessen is slated for March 31.

The Nintendo 3DS game has an original story, which involves all five kages or "shadows." Screenshots show Naruto sparring with Tsunade, Gaara, and Raikage. Naruto is fully armed with Sage Mode and the Rasenshuriken.

Oh my gosh its the Mizukage!!! My second favorite of the kages (1st being Gaara the Kazekage!). Dude, this game sounds epic and those screenshots look phenomenal. Naruto has always been a series of great koala tea, and the screenshots just prove how in tents it is and how high koala tea this game is! Simply stunning, gah, it is so epic! And Naruto in Sage mode with the Rasenshuriken!!!!!!! Even more awesome!!!! Now just give us a US release!!!!!

You’re missing your signature line: DAY 1 BABY!
      I’d day 1 this one

      • Aoshi00

He can’t DAY 1 this because it’s region locked :)… Well, not that he would play Naruto w/ the Jpn voices anyway..

The chars look good but the background seems a little plain. I might be interested in this side scroller and Layton if I have a Jpn 3DS, alrdy feeling the pain.. But once they announce Love Plus, I would need to cave :(…

        • malek86

He’s probably going to day-1 a japanese 3DS with the game.

          • PersonaBull

No, he’s VEHEMENTLY against importing. If he has to import, heads will roll. Just ask any UK gamer he’s offended.

Also, this is another reason I don’t usually care for anime-based games. The non-canon events diverge from the original story in such a scary way. It’s also a reason why I end up being a manga elitist refusing to touch certain anime series if I’ve already read the source material. I can see how it’s entertaining for plenty, but it’s just ruined for me :/

          • http://tristsantithesis.tumblr.com/ Tsunayoshi Sawada

Why would you wanna watch the same exact thing and play the exact same game, there is no more element of surprise. Though, how can you pass up the anime and seeing the fights extended (the game for that matter, the Sasuke Itachi fight in UNS2 was awesome), the Grimmjow Ichigo fight was awesome in the anime for us GrimmIchi fans, as well as Ichigo and Ulquiorra fight in epic quality, heh and even the most recent Aizen everything. Bleach is superior in the anime aspect. (and Seikon no Qwaser anime, of course uncensored, is better than the awesome manga…)

          • Aoshi00

Like PersonaBull said, he most likely won’t import, he’s too proud to pay the premium from another country since all games deserve to be localized for us Yanks.. he wouldn’t even import a game in English from Europe, let alone a Jpn game and system that cost much more.

“Naruto has always been a series of great koala tea”

      …What?

Platform sections look a little uninspiring but the cutscenes look ace.

    Wait a Second!

    Naruto never met the Mizukage!!!

    • http://thrust-the-sky.deviantart.com/ WildArms

If you want to talk about things that naruto made in games and never in the manga, i can tell you a few…

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000301072427 Mark Shaver

A little consistency is all I ask for~

        • http://tristsantithesis.tumblr.com/ Tsunayoshi Sawada

Dude, consistantcy, what? All that matters is more Naruto and new stories, alternate tellings, and dedicated followings…they are all excellent!

          • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000301072427 Mark Shaver

Which all amounts to crap if it doesn’t mean anything.

          • http://tristsantithesis.tumblr.com/ Tsunayoshi Sawada

What do you mean? I look for the game to provide fun and exciting experiences. What else are you looking for in a Naruto game?

        • SeventhEvening

You do realize there is a Naruto game on the wii in which he uses a sword and kills dragons, right?

“The Nintendo 3DS game has an original story”

The last two words may give you a clue :D

        <..>

        Shut up…*sulk*

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_NO5DQ6TLYW7UHSD2LK5R3NFVYA Patryk Batemanowski

Wow. The graphics looks poor compared to other 3ds titles, character models are way too simple(wait! Is naruto’s face just a texture?!?).
Maybe it will look better in motion.

    • Aara_Malik_Davoodi

Maybe you left your glasses on your nightstand, this game doesn’t look bad at all

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_NO5DQ6TLYW7UHSD2LK5R3NFVYA Patryk Batemanowski

yes it does. Just compare it to SF4 or DOA. Naruto’s face is completely flat, and backgrounds are very minimalistic.
Of course, graphics aren’t everything but I wouldn’t expect mindblowing gameplay from this one, It would be cool to play as Raikage though.

Anyone expecting Tomy of Japan to put in effort on a Naruto. Is crazy, and doesn’t know their history. Tomy could be working on the PS4, and their games would still look like Gamecube games.

    • http://tristsantithesis.tumblr.com/ Tsunayoshi Sawada

Dude check your negativity at the door, Naruto Shippuden Clash of Ninja Revolution III is still the best Naruto game ever produced by Tomy and perhaps of the non CyberConnect2 game, and you know it!!!! They made a phenomenal definitive Naruto game!

      • xxbrothawizxx

that may be true that Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is good but it doesn’t really add much except online. Naruto has had basically the same combo since the beginning of the series on the gamecube. Its sad and i’m fed up with TOMY producing crap.

        • http://tristsantithesis.tumblr.com/ Tsunayoshi Sawada

What other combo would he need, that is simply what makes it a blast to play with him continuously.

          • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000301072427 Mark Shaver

I thought you were all about innovation?

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_CA2UGKXZ4J5VHTG2FHL4OHKSXA Jaden

I agree with Mr.Sawada I to this day still have a blast playing Rev.3 it is my all time favorite NARUTO game and CON/GNT game in general. The time TOMY put in that game are only those that true fighting game fans and fans of NARUTO can see. And this is coming from someone who yes also owns STORM 2 as well. All naysayers can just stay in their little circle.^_^ Tsk, tsk, tsk.

  • karasuKumo

Original story + Generic forest areas = No buy :(

I’m guessing it will have a weirdly designed filler enemy too -_- like almost every other portable Naruto title. I’ll defiantly make sure to see the 3D in action though, I’m curious about the Rasenshuriken lol.

  • joesz

I wonder who would voice The Mizukage…..

  • shion16

it remind me the platform part of Ultimate Ninja heroes 3……..not good
