Vanquish Boosts Past 800,000 Sold, Sonic Colors Sells Over Double That Number

Vanquish, the fourth game from the Sega and Platinum Games partnership, sold 820,000 copies worldwide since its release between October 19, 2010 and the end of 2010. For comparison’s sake Bayonetta reached 1.1 million units during the same fiscal period in 2009, but was only officially available in Japan during those months.

Sonic Colors was Sega’s breakout hit during the season. 1.85 million units of Sonic Colors were sold worldwide. Football Manager 2011 for PC and PSP was the third best selling game with 690,000 units between Europe and North America.
