Harvest Moon: Back To Nature Sprouts On To PlayStation Network

By Spencer . February 8, 2011 . 12:01pm

imageNatsume, just like the ESRB indicated earlier, are bringing some of their PsOne titles to PlayStation Network. Later today, Reel Fishing II and Harvest Moon: Back to Nature will be available on PlayStation Network as a downloadable PsOne Classic.

Harvest Moon: Back to Nature takes place in Mineral Town where you have to build a farm and woo a wife. If you played Harvest Moon 64 you might recognize a few characters. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to play as a female protagonist in Back to Nature. You’ll have to pick up Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl, a PSP version of Harvest Moon: Back to Nature and the companion game Harvest Moon for Girls, if you want to chase bachelors.

  • It always amazed me how Back to Nature and 64 were so different. Were they made by two different teams or was the same team just trying some different things?

    • Back to Nature came nearly a year later (for the Japan releases) if that could explain anything

  • PrinceHeir

yay more PSN classic games FTW :D

  • Woah, this harvest moon has been everywhere O.o, oh well, as long as natsume gets money, i dont mind

    • puchinri

Even though I appreciate all of Natsume’s work localizing, all the typos, etc feel so lazy (if not lolzy sometimes), I want them to make money, but I wish they’d make money off of high quality work and not… partially high quality work.

Harvest moon will be bought. Glad Natsume is bringing some good stuff to the PS3.

Incidentally, also this week in PSone Classics is Pocket Fighter by Capcom, according to the Playstation Blog.

  • BadenBadenPrinny

I can finally try Harvest Moon

EDIT: Oh derp, forgot that there were PSP versions

    • NeoTechni

      Many PSP versions…

  • About time Natsume brought the best Harvest Moon harvest moon game to the PS3 :D
