Index is making cameos everywhere Z.H.P., Disgaea 4, Gods Eater Burst, and now Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. Sega announced a collaboration where players can download costumes based on characters from A Certain Magical Index.

The PSP game will have outfits for Index, Misaka Mikoto, and Shirai Kuroko. Sega also created a special weapon, Misaka Mikoto’s railgun. It’s a handgun class weapon with electric shock level 5 as a special effect.

  • Wut?

    • Dr. Useless

“Wut” is the point of this useless comment?

      • Yui

This comment introduced me to your existence, so I’d say it’s a pretty damn useful one! :D

Also, seriously? Index really is all over the place. Maybe I need to try watching it.

      • Damn u.

  • Balmung

Such a shame we wont be getting this awesome game :( well i just hope they decide to release it as a downloadable expansion pack or sumfin :(

    • We will, just a year later with NO DLC content u.u

  • mirumu

I’ve always had a fondness for Kuroko, but I can’t unsee those ears. Interesting way to market these games though. I’m sure all of them will sell quite a few additional copies in Japan purely on the strength of the tie-in.

  • I just want the KFC DLC…

  • The Railgun sounds awesome.

Just wiki’d A Certain Magical Index. Sounds interesting. Might give it a read after finishing other mangas.

    • PrinceHeir

lol it reminded me of Yu Yu Hakusho :D

      Yusuke’s Ray gun FTW :)

man i seriously need to watch this anime Index is like everywhere. She was even in the My little sister can’t be this cute PSP game….not that i played it or anything

    • watch it!

      • Please enlighten me on index. My close friends told me it’s horrible and would disown me if I followed the anime, but oh great WildArms, please show me the truth

        • Haha, it’s not horrible… Ummm, it depends on the person, but i personally think that the 1st season was good, it is kinda new stuff, the MC is not that boring and has an interesting ability, the only problem is that he doesnt fight thaaat much (you will see what i mean once you watch it) but he fights a bit more in season 2. Still, when he wins, it always feels kinda epic, because there is a lot of stuff between all the fights, and most of the times you will not know how the hell the MC survived.

It only gets boring when the main character starts to talk about good things and etc in the middle of the battle, because you are mostly like “OMG SHUT UP AND FIGHT!!”, but seriously, the fights are great, there are a lot of interesting abilities and characters, it mixes science with magic, and it has Misaka xD.

I watched the first full season in like 3 days (i was in vacations yay!!), it kept me entertained a lot and made me a fan of the show, but i wont lie to you, it isnt something like OMG SO COOL, ME HAVE TO SEE!!. It was good at some parts and “meh” at others, i became a fan because there were many good parts, and they were really good made.

I recommend you to give a shot to the first episode, this is one of the few animes i could say that, if you didnt liked the 1st episode, i dont think you will like the rest that much.

          • I see. I’m done with projects so I can animeeeeeeeeeeeeee YEAH. What made me interested in index was the character design. They’re gorgeous *__*

          • animefans12

Well, they are from the creator of Shakugan no Shana. :P

  • MisterDandylion

Seriously, this anime is everywhere :3 I should definitely check it out haha

  • Barrit

This is probably the perfect time to ask this. I was going to start watching this anime pretty soon. Should I just watch them in the order that they were released?

Toaru Majutsu no Index>Toaru Kagaku no Railgun>Toaru Majutsu no Index II?

    • Railgun is just a side story so you can watch that whenever you want, but it gives indepth information about some of the characters that were not so present in the first season, so I would say yes watch them in the original order.

    • tr1gun1212

I would say skip Index and go right for Railgun.

  • Darkrise

    … Where’s Kanzaki? =(

  • >.< Toaru Magical [insert name] is everywhere. I need to start watching it, along with other anime I have backlogged. ;-;

Can someone inform me on the order I need to start watching?

    • Croix

The airing order was Index, Railgun, Index II.

  • I just cant picture index that tall >_>

    • Darkrise

I can’t even picture her with such a serious expression. 0.0

  • no Last Order?!!!! ohh well….

    Biri Biri then <3 <3 <3
