The Little Battlers Will Be Released A Little Later

imageLevel-5 delayed their plastic model crafting RPG again. The Little Battlers, which was originally slated for release last year moved to March 17, 2011. Now, the PSP game’s release date is May 26.

A statement from the developer explained in order to cram in everything they first planned to make the game interesting they need extra time. To make sure the quality doesn’t drop and to have a game that satisfies everyone (kids & adults) The Little Batters was bumped to May 17.

So far, The Little Battlers has not been announced for release outside of Japan at this time. While Sony Computer Entertainment America released several Level-5 developed titles all of those were Sony owned intellectual properties.

  • Please SCEA bring out this game as one last hurrah for the PSP. I love the concept of this game and all the media and images and such! Ive just gotta have it!!!!

Hey Tsuna since you’re in the know with this one (and many more :3) So, what’s this game about?

      • I think this trailer they had is an epic description of the awesomeness that this game is!!! It just seems like an epic phenomenal little customizable robot battler rpg experience that will be amazing! (and I hope it gets an anime too because it seems it would be cool)

      • Medabots, but still cool, with no medals, and mini robots

      • Exkaiser

It’s a customizable robot-action game, like Medarot and Custom Robo, but with gameplay more like Gotcha Force. It’s also part of a planned multimedia franchise including an anime and a line of model kits (you get a model kit with the game, too!).

I really hope it gets localized, myself.

      • some people have also broken it down to an Pokemon game but with customization

  • Saraneth

Level-5 makes a lot of really interesting games. I hope the rest of the Inazuma Eleven games are localized soon.

  • SneakyHawk

I wonder if this game will have a demo…I would really like to try it.

  • Vino (Tim N)

  • Tom_Phoenix

    Yu-Gi-Oh! The Mecha Edition!

On a more serious note, this does seem like a VERY interesting concept. But I will wait and see how it turns out first.

  • Dammit, the more it’s delayed the longer it will take the west to recieve it :( (I’m confident we will be getting it :D)
