Add Gravure Idol Avatars To Your White Knight Chronicles Episode.Portable Party

By Spencer . February 21, 2011 . 2:06pm

Meme Kitagawa and Yuna Shirakawa have been helping Sony promote the White Knight Chronicles series in Japan. The two models appeared in a series of NicoNico web shorts playing White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness for PS3 in a bikini.

That campaign may be over, but the two gravure idols still have a job. Now you can add them to your White Knight Chronicles Episode.Portable: Dogma Wars game.

Meme’s avatar (left) carries a one-handed sword. Yuna equipped her avatar with a two-handed axe. Both avatars are level 41 characters and only available for a limited time as downloadable content. You can get Meme and Yuna characters starting today and until February 27 for the Japanese version of the game.

Sony has not announced if they will release White Knight Chronicles Episode.Portable: Dogma Wars overseas or not.

they would be like people i could have in my party? sounds nice, but i would probably not download them unless they had something i don’t (or couldn’t get)

If I’m not mistaken, they’re just there to look pretty, like the other avatars.
You may or may not have seen, but some of the WKC2 online gameplay shows the player using the new knight and princess characters.
Though, I don’t believe they’re the same as Meme and Yuna. It seems like they overwrite your custom character, so it’s probably just an overall skeleton to make your character look like a storyline one.
I believe the Japanese psn has a skeleton for every storyline character, actually.

The first week sales seemed pretty poor… I mean, not that I wouldn’t like this game to get localised.. but I’d fall into the category of preferring localisation confirmation of WKC2.

And this won’t be a problem under that new Tokyo law. These are real life lolis, it is only the make-believe 2D ones that are becoming illegal.

But they’re not real life loli. They may look young, but they’re both above the legal age.

Still one of my most anticipated games this year. Bring it on.

Even though the original WKC was disappointing, I’m still excited for the series as it has great potential. So I really hope this gets localised soon.

I played it. The game really isn’t that good. The maps are split up into linear square-like blocks so you just go through with one wave of enemies at a time. This is extremely boring. The gathering system is lamee and the game suffers from a lot of slow downs. This just feels like a missed opportunity. It could’ve been much better.

They were both sharing a single bikini, eh?
    Hmmm…
