shunGet ready to go zombie hunting in Kamurocho. Sega is putting a downloadable demo of Yakuza: Of the End on PlayStation Network on March 3. You’ll need a Japanese PlayStation Network account and 1.74 GB of free hard drive space to acquire the file.

Once installed, you can shoot zombies with Shun Akiyama, a lovestruck loan shark first seen in Yakuza 4. Yakuza: Of the End has three other familiar characters in the retail game.

Yakuza: Of the End comes out on March 17 in Japan.

  • Oh snap. I thought there would be a Monster Mash montage video or something… which is something I will consider making, when I try out the demo.

  • Please let this game come to America!

    • Agreed.
This must be localized: yakuza + awesome stories + zombies = win
They could also localize Yakuza PSP.

Buy Yakuza 4 if you want this one!

      • Had that thing preordered and paid off since they announced it!

      Hell Yeah :)

I hope this doesn’t have the same fate as Kenzan regarding a western localization. It would be crazy for Sega to not bring this here especially since the game actually looks like it was geared towards a western crowd.

    Will play this demo.

The demo seemed particularly linear to me, but popping zombie heads while wearing a nice suit never gets old. One thing which needs to be said: when it asks for the O button, press X instead. It must’ve taken me a solid five minutes just to figure out that a co-op player tutorial needed to be performed before I could get up the stairs and out of the DVD store .
