By Spencer . March 7, 2011 . 10:47pm

cladun2Nippon Ichi releases are one step closer to being synonymous with "crossover." Dengeki reports a collaboration with Nihon Falcom, the company behind Ys and The Legends of the Heroes series.

Content from Ys, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, and The Legend of the Heroes: Zero no Kiseki will be in ClaDun 2. We’re guessing patterns for characters and perhaps weapons will be released, but specific details have not leaked on to the Internet yet.

ClaDun 2 also has a collaboration with the four panel manga series P.S. Suri-san and 5pb’s upcoming Xbox 360 fighting game Phantom Breaker.

That’s really cool. I’m going to take it as a sign that Falcom is getting recognition from the console gaming market. Makes me happy, especally if it means more ports to consoles. :) When the game comes here I’ll have my fingers crossed that NISA will be able to use all the Falcom stuff. Also does anyone else want an Adol sword that makes it so you have to run into enemies from the side or back in order to attack it. :D

“want an Adol sword that makes it so you have to run into enemies from the side or back in order to attack it.”

That’d be awesome if that was added into it. More Adol in my ClaDun, plz?

      • We need more Adol in every game, he should be the gaming industry running gag, that appears in all rpg games, as the super awesome secret character!

  • Draparde

Gah! as if i didint want this game before…now i want it even more ><

  • NIS characters, Mota artwork, and now Ys and Sora/Zero no Kiseki crossovers?
What’s not to love about this game?

  • It’s funny, I always make Adol in these types of create-a-character games anyway

  • Meh, I thought they would make a new IP together.

    • I don’t see how the headline implied that at all since we ClaDun2 was in it…
