Fire Pro Wrestling Pile Drives Onto Xbox 360 By Summer

Screenshot2 Way back at Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft announced a partnership with Spike to bring the Fire Pro Wrestling series to Xbox 360. Instead of sprites, the Xbox 360 game uses avatars.


Microsoft hasn’t said much about the game since, but we spotted an overseas rating a few months ago.


Responding to fans on Twitter, Spike CEO Mitsutoshi Sakurai briefly spoke about Fire Pro Wrestling. "The flames of Fire Pro Wrestling can’t be extinguished," Sakurai said with gusto. Microsoft is publishing the Xbox 360 version, but Sakurai thinks fans will be able to play Fire Pro Wrestling by summer.

    I like the games, but I don’t much care for the graphics they’re using in this one. Oh well. Here’s hopin’ the gameplay is still good.
