Pac-Man celebrated his 30th birthday in October with games like Pac-Man Party and the Pac-Man Championship Edition DX. Aside from Pac-Man Tilt, which feels more like Sonic the Hedgehog than Pac-Man, the middle-aged dot eater doesn’t have any other games on his plate.
However, that doesn’t mean Namco Bandai forgot about their main mascot. Namco Bandai filed a trademark for Pac-Chomp in Europe. We also found trademarks for Pac’n-Jump in the Europe, Japan and the U.S.
Pac’n-Jump sounds like another Pac-platformer. Pac-Chomp… reminds me of Hungry Hungry Hippos. Namco Bandai probably isn’t thinking of that, though!
