I Don’t Think Demon’s Souls Can Get Much Cheaper

imageIf you want to ignore the spring sunshine and hideaway in a dark video game maybe now is the time to get Demon’s Souls. Amazon has From Software’s smash hit on sale again and it’s just $15.

Sure, the case is red, but you get the Demon’s Souls soundtrack on a CD as a bonus. This version actually costs less than a standalone game, which goes for $20 at Amazon. Get it while it’s hot, if you don’t have Demon’s Souls already.

Speaking of Demon’s Souls did you read about the company that originally translated the game? Check out the first post in our feature on Active Gaming Media.

15$ for an excellent game and a soundtrack?

  • PrinceHeir

  • Maxwell3000

LOL. Stupid me. I imported this 7 months before the U.S. release for $70 thinking I was slick. Oh well. Dark Souls will be great too. And if you haven’t bought, get it now!

Dude, I bought both the U.S. & European Collector’s Edition and bought the Red GH version! :P

Damn! Anyone who is on the fence about this game should really jump on this. Demon’s Souls is the most amazing game I’ve played this generation.

  • KyoyaHibari

Wow, I’m so much of a devoted fan, that I actually feel the need to get this copy, not only do I get the OST, but my buddy who lives in my place can play with me at the same time :D

  • IceRomancer

Well if it’s that cheap I guess I got no choice but to get it! Way to pressure me to get this amazon :P

this is one game i expected alot but was severely discouraged to play. It was actually more of the fact my friends were discouraged to play thus not wanting to myself. I really don’t like playing multiplayer games with random people especially after been playing with ppl i know for a long time.

Im kindda tempted to try it again but another issue arises. I hear the servers will be plugged or i remember hearing it was to be unplugged this year in spring.

      This game is multiplayer?

I kid, I kid. But seriously, most of the time I just played solo in phantom form, not wanting to deal with a PVP opponent.

My multiplayer came mainly in the form of phantom players wandering about, adding to the haunting sensation of the entire game, as well as in the witnessing of the various deaths and the aide via the messages that kept my sorry ass alive.

And don’t worry about the servers. Atlus is more worried about going bankrupt then they are about turning the servers off. They understand their gamers and are dedicated to keeping our play experience alive for as long as they can.

You really have the wrong idea of the game. The multiplayer is nothing like other multiplayer games. And it’s not even the focus of the gameplay. Think of it more as a single player game and you’ll be fine.

I read the title and thought of a different meaning of “cheap”. Like maybe you got killed one too many times and needed to rant…

I got mine with the artbook and CD for 60 dollars. It was worth every penny.

This game is the only real reason to own a PS3… just saying! Get it if you don’t have it!
