A Dream Come True? Dragon Quest VI: Realms Of Revelation Striking PAL Regions

By Spencer . April 10, 2011 . 11:08pm

Nintendo published Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation in North America a few months ago. While they haven’t said anything about releasing the Nintendo DS remake in PAL regions, it appears we’ll wake up one day to an announcement.

Australia’s Classifications Board rated Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation, a game that Nintendo of Australia sent them to scrutinize. The news didn’t come with a dry description about the game’s content, but it is a fairly good sign European and Australian gamers won’t miss out on exploring Somnia.

  • Uhhhhhhh YAY?

    • Extra_Life

      Yeah! Yay!

Of course, I already bought the US version because there was no announcement, and now VI looks out of place with my PAL IV and V, but nevermind…

Well I’m glad one of my favorite games is looking like it can finally be played all around the world on the DS. If you haven’t already and it comes out, I highly recommended it. :) Worth the price. :D

    Puns. Puns everywhere.

Woo hoo, I get the opportunity to pay twice the price for game I bought and finished a month ago. Can you say AUD$70.00 for a AAA DS game?

I don’t wish for anyone to lose their jobs but there needs to be some sort of shakeup in retail market for games in Australia. Book publishers here are protected by “grey importing” laws to hold up artificial high prices and now two major retail store chains have gone to the wall over lost sales to overseas online stores.

  • This is such awesome news…Is what I would have said if this was to do with the 3DS

  • I knew it was worth waiting. I knew it. After the sucess of DQ IX in Europe, it wouldn’t make sense to see Nintendo passing up on the chance to give us DQ VI as well!

  • That’s really nice.
