Buried Under The Flying Fruit Is A Release Date For Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury

By Spencer . April 11, 2011 . 6:02pm

Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury is less than a month away. Treasure created over 100 levels (some are classic stages from other Bangai-O titles) with flying soccer balls and missiles for players to send flying back at targets. The bat from Bangai-O Spirits is gone, but you can reflect hundreds of missiles with a well timed counter attack.

Treasure also added a built in level editor so players can create custom maps. The map editor in Bangai-O HD can recreate any stage, even boss battles. You can start by using Treasure’s layouts as a base or build a stage from scratch. After you polish your stage you can share it with friends on Xbox Live. Anyone know the Gamertags from the Treasure staff?

Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury will be 800 Microsoft Points ($10) when it comes out on May 4th for Xbox 360.

  • So excited for this. I spent so much time playing the original Dreamcast title.

    Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, now to wait for Radiant Silvergun and the whatever game Cave is doing for XBLA, since i’m very wary of the Strider like game and I managed to save money not buying Bullet Soul, I was completely right about that game sadly for Eschatos… gotta order it, its SOO goooooood.

    I had no idea what I was doing in the DS title. I should go back and put in more effort. Also $8 sounds like a fucking steal.

    I only wish Microsoft Points worked that way.

      Dude me too >w<' Seriously it's the bane of my existence on 360, that and in Canada, Microsoft is still ripping us off of a few dollars on certain increments of points omo;

      *Spencer should be 800msp = $10 >w<;

    the 1 thing that kept me from liking the ds version of this game was how small they made the Robot but i admit it has its charm in Hd….

    rar, can’t wait for this and Radiant Silvergun >ww<; Still there's been a good run and lineup of games in the last month or two on XBLA~!

      Nin2-Jump is apparently coming in April, so it will actually be the first of that bunch. 400 MSP ($5), with all proceeds going to the Japanese Red Cross.
