Hudson And Konami Are Dreaming Of A Game Called Nightmare Dinosaur

By Spencer . May 4, 2011 . 10:08pm

Spotted in Australia’s Classification Board is a rating for Nightmare Dinosaur an upcoming game from Hudson Entertainment. While Hudson Entertainment closed their US office, Konami is apparently picking up some of their games developed from their Japan branch.

Nightmare Dinosaur is an enigma though since the game has not been announced. So, we’ll leave you with another "nightmare" Color a Dinosaur from Virgin Games.

A dinosaur roar and tail shake to Liam for sending us a tip. Thanks!

What’s so horrible about that game in the video? I mean, ok, it’s not particularly interesting, but it is exactly what it says on the tin. Its called “Color A Dinosaur” and you…colour dinosaurs. What more did you expect? It’s like berating “King James’s Bible” for literally being a transcript of the Bible:

The limitations of a seemingly simple game – small selection of colors, the time it takes to refresh and perhaps the fact that a coloring book is much cheaper than an NES game.

Considering this game wouldn’t be worth purchasing even if it didn’t have those problems, it is kind of a moot point. :P

I think I’m confused about your point then :P hahaha

It is totally not the worst game ever. This is: [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmcMG4uxiHk] WHY DO I LOVE IT SO MUCH? :’)

Anyway, it’s sounds like it could be some crappy Jurassic Park-like game. But it’s way too early to say. Surprise me.

OK this just reminded me of my favorite game growing up, it was some dinosaur game for windows 95 (probably through DOS) that was kind of a dumbed down version of Zelda, but you played as a bunch of different dinosaurs. I know for a fact that you could be a T-Rex and a Spinosaurus, they were the best of the best, and then there were a bunch of middle tiered omnivores, then herbivores like the brontosaurus were the toughest to play as. I’ve looked it up but only found a bunch of Jurassic Park games, which I know it wasn’t. Does this ring a bell to anyone else??
