Making Of A Grand Knights History Knight

By Spencer . May 10, 2011 . 12:59pm

Before online and offline battles begin in Grand Knights History, players design a group heroes. Grand Knights History lets players select options such as clothing color, hair color, weapon, and an accessory to wear. There are a set number of combinations, but that’s a fair tradeoff since you end up with a semi-custom design using Vanillaware’s art.

The starting weapon you pick also determines what special attack the knight starts off with. Continue using the same weapon in battle and your proficiency will increase, which gives you access to more skills.

Flash Code (saber)

Gallop Beat (spear)

Judgment (magic)

Skullfang (great sword)

Blaze Rain (bow)

Grand Knights History will be available for PSP on September 1.

  • Heres hoping for localization, although I’m not gonna get my hopes up. It would come out in 2012 at the earliest too…. Man I need to stop slacking and just learn Japanese so I never have these worries again.

  • There’s never a bare-fisted monk when you’d like one, huh? Still, this game looks delicious.

    • I don’t know about how good the game will taste but I agree, every RPG should have the option for fisticuffs.
Chuck Norris has taught us that it can beat any other weapon.

      • “Fisticuffs” is one of the best words ever made, alongside “defenestration” and “acnestis”.

        • Every RPG should have the option for defenestration and acnestis too.

  • The game looks simply divine! Localisation, please!

Wow, just look at the animation. What more when you see the actual game. Let’s hope for actual gameplay video soon.

And like every other commenter said here . . . English localization please.

  • This looks fantasticaaaaAAUGH! WHY DON’T I HAVE A PSP!

  • Im too young to die from a cardiac arrest

  • im afraid to get this game. i may die from an overload of eyegasms lol

Kind of lame customisation options aside (none actually?) – looks very neat! Love Vanillaware games, and all of their titles were released in the West so… let’s just wait for announcement.
