When You’re Not Fetching Monster Meat, You Build A Relationship With Ceres

By Spencer . May 18, 2011 . 1:28am

imageWith a plot centered around a girl turning into a monster, Pandora’s Tower: Until I Return to Your Side has a dark story, but One Piece developer Ganbarion added lighthearted elements to the Wii game.

Ende can build a relationship with Ceres. The burning Oreichalkos chain on the left lets you know the strength of the connection. This can be improved by giving her gifts like a bracelet and apparently a carrot, which makes Ceres smile. It isn’t clear how players obtain these gifts, though.

The relationship can worsen if you don’t bring Ceres monster meat, which prevents the curse from taking over, in time. Nintendo didn’t say if this will affect the game’s ending or not either. Along with this news, Nintendo posted another commercial for Pandora’s Tower: Until I Return to Your Side, which comes out next week in Japan.

Build a relationship with Mamiko?  Why, yes!

    • Aoshi00

Say “ah…” Chiba Susumu and Noto, a very good pair :)

  • I suppose it would be in your best interest to keep her happy. Otherwise, in due time, she’d just have you for dinner.

I’d give her a carrot. Easily one of the best presents to give to a girl.

    • Just like Epona. :D

Cere’s expression looks so cute.. like feeding a pet.. being voiced by Noto Mamiko helps too :)

Looks to be a great game, hope the time limit wouldn’t be too harsh.. Tale of the Last Promise just seems a bit medicore compared to other new releases (it’s not bad, but it isn’t too fun either.. only played several hrs though and not too interested in play more, but need to since it cost $80…)

      • $80 is enough reason to play through a game at least once, that said I too am not too far yet, ahh if the rest of the game would be as awesome as the character design~

        • Aoshi00

I know I need to finish it to get my money’s worth.. but there are just many more game that are better.. like Pandora’s Tower, LA Noire, Portal 2, I’m finally playing Chaos;Head too etc..  I got burned by so many PSP imports it’s not funny :(… (Kenshin, Tsukumonogatari, this, I bought them but kinda just set them aside…)

          • Ah, I wanted to buy Tsukumonogatari, but I think Ishaan said you have not much good to tell about it, I would love to know how it is.

  • Dating elements in an action game… the first step in seeing Tokimeki Memorial and Love Plus localised.

  • PrinceHeir

can’t wait to see more walkthrough of this :D

“Can you continue to love me even when I’m like this?”

I’ll do anything for you Mamiko :P

  •  Lots of people are gonna HATE this feature.

    • puchinri

      You’re probably right.
      And that’s pretty disappointing.

  • As if I didn’t have enough interest to want this localized, I get to date this girl. :o

  • JustaGenericUser

Could they have made the guy not look like Tidus and the girl not look like genderbent Xemnas?

    • neocatzon

genderbent Xemnas could be hot, this is the proof :D

  • Jirin

This game looks interesting, but I’m not going to get excited about it until I know whether or not I will get to play it.

  • puchinri

Glad to see there’s a light-hearted element too (I expect as much from people who develop games for One Piece). It sounds more fun.

  • MisterDandylion

    Darling! :3

  • that headline is. . . suggestive.
