Nightmare Will Terrorize Players In Soulcalibur VSoulcalibur V director Daishi Odashima confirmed another Soulcalibur alum. Nightmare, the evil being formed from Siegfried after he was consumed by Soul Edge, will return as a playable character in Soulcalibur V.

 

Nightmare joins Siegfried and Sophita’s children Patroklos and Pyyrah in the ring. Right now, Soulcalibur IV‘s rings. Odashima is using Soulcalibur IV’s environments in Soulcalibur V for balancing purposes.

 

Oh, and speaking of Pyyrah….

    Ok I’m officially interested in Pyrrah now, she seems to have nice clothing and I can’t withstand skirts in fights! :D

    Also, boy was I shocked when I read this: “Nightmare joins Siegfried and Sophita’s children Patroklos and Pyyrah..” I was like “What. They are on the same site now?! Again after further reading it was just meant for the game overall, lol, I need to learn to read the whole text before having crazy fantasies~

    Oh and I thought while reading the header, that Nightmare will distract you or will terrorize you while you play the game or something…xd

      Well maybe when using her in the middle of her fight she will drop her weapon causing “dojikoo” attack to the opponent.(Here comes Moe!!! to Soul Calibur)

      and i believe this time nightmare will become more nightmarish like his head grows blade or everything becomes more spiky and…….. more burnable then.

    Hmm… this is off subject (slightly) but what’s the actual year V will take place?
    Yoshimitsu (who I’m praying will return) along with some of the other heavily Japanese characters have ties to a certain horrific “Demon Lord” who’s never actually seen character form. I don’t particularly know if the Soul team would be all for making characters based on historical figures… but… Capcom’s got a rather nice selection of Sengoku era fighters.

    Pyrrah looks adorable. A move away from fanservice toward solid gameplay and better looking characters would be one I very much support.
