Kazuma Kujo was one of Irem’s lead designers. He created R-Type Final, worked on the Disaster Report games, and made Steambot Chronicles. He’s still in Ishikawa prefecture, but is not at Irem.

Kujo left to form his Granzella. This company will plan, design, and sell consumer video games, but no titles have been announced at this time.
Granzella was formed in April of this year. Right before, Irem apologized about canceling Steambot Chronicles 2. PachiPara Slot: Pachi-Slot Super Beach Story in Okinawa comes out for PSP on Thursday.
