It hasn’t really hammered home until now. I’m so EXCITED!

And shortly after. TGS. And after that? PAX.

      Oh yeah. Awesome.

  • PrinceHeir

cannot wait to see some gameplay tidbits :D

  • Souji Tendou

Heck yea! Bring it on. Come on Hayashi, don’t let me down, you hear me?

  • XypherCode

as for me i’m really looking forward to the 3DS game of ninja gaiden :D ‘hope they show something at E3

  • Aara_Malik_Davoodi

I bet we’ll see a LOT at TGS, too. I remember them debuting NG2 there way back in 2007. I was so hyped then and I’m even more hyped now. I’ve obviously matured so much since then XD

  • Great to see NG3 coming. Gameplay is the least of my worries though. I mean, a franchise fabled as one of the hardest, yet rewarding games in history is getting watered down. Do I “have” to be agree to this though? Agh…confusing. ?_?

But Ninja Gaiden 3 came out a decade ago…

    • gatotsu911

      You mean two decades ago?

  • krokounleashed

No surprise actually. Hope this will turn out good without the master ninja. At least the scans I saw looked good so far.

  • malek86

Ok, Team Ninja. Time to show me that Itagaki departing was not necessarily a bad thing. I’ll forgive you for DOAP and DOAD if you can get at least this one right.

    • what was wrong with DOAD?

      • malek86

Plays better in 2D, general lack of options in single player modes, they tried too hard to give the characters some personality but failed to make them likeable, Tag can only be used in challenges, figurines can’t be photoed together…

        • gatotsu911

No offense, but those all kind of seem like nitpicks. Flaws, yes, but relatively inconsequential ones compared to the bigger questions of “Does the fighting system work?”, “Does it work well?” and “Is it fun?”

          • malek86

Well, the fighting system has been pretty much (almost) the same for the last four games, and I’ve been playing the series for long. So, unlike a new player who is only interested in the fighting system, I’m gonna look at the whole package for a comparison instead.

Besides… believe me, being unable to play Tag in anything but challenges and only with an AI partner (can’t play the partner yourself, and the AI is really stupid) is definitely not fun. Also, a fighting game where you can’t change the options for the arcade mode, might not be a big problem but it still raises some eyebrows.

  • please do something about the camera.

i hope the vigorian flails return.

  • C’mon, bring me Hayate and Kasumi this time!
