Space Dragons Rule Tokyo, But Stylish Outfits Still Exist In 7th Dragon 2020

Imageepoch’s near future sequel to 7th Dragon starts with players creating a character. You get to design Murakumo members to fight dragons from space that spread flowers all over Tokyo.

7th Dragon 2020 has all kinds of character customization options and they aren’t limited to your job, Imageepoch explained in a blog. Players can freely go through the game’s outfits and equip anything. Afterwards, you can pick a voice actor and then get into skill selection to further refine your character.

Natsume (left) wont’ join your party, but she’s a key character in 7th Dragon 2020. As the president of the Murakumo, her sole goal is to eliminate the dragons. She believes in training new members, including the protagonist. Ayafumi (right) is one of Natsume’s aides. He’s a scientist researching the dragons and provides a support role for the party.

I never played the DS version, I hope I´ll be able to play this one.
Character generator, three party members, weapon customization…

There seems to be an “auto battle” mode by holding/pressing R, that´s a plus for me. But I hope you won´t need to depend on it.

  • I used to say “Yay I can’t wait to see this localized” Now its “I hope they might, possibly, wish they would”
