mog With E3 out of the way, nearly all of the Square Enix trademarks we uncovered have been utilized. Theatrhythm is new. Square Enix filed a trademark for this potential title right when E3 was ending. Theatrhythm is registered in Europe and North America, but this isn’t another Eidos project.

Square Enix Japan filled out the paperwork, which means Theatrhythm is something from Japan. But, what is it? The name kind of has a music game vibe to it. Maybe they can throw Mog in as a main character or something since he’s the original slam dancing moogle.

Theatrhythm??Could they have chosen a worse title? But this being SE they probably could.

  • Given the name, probably a music game with cinematic cutscenes or being played alongside some play.  Or just a regular music game with fancy visuals.

Being Square-Enix probably Final Fantasy music game.

  • I hope it’s not a “retooled” game with the #mugan game engine.  >_<
