Rune Factory 3 Will Rise In Europe

imageWell, at least the retail leak for Rune Factory 3 was right. While Rising Star Games says they are not going to release Half-Minute Hero Second overseas, they picked up Rune Factory 3.

The news comes from PEGI, the European rating board, which reviewed the game and deemed it suitable for people over the age of twelve. Japan Expo is right around the corner. Perhaps, Rising Star Games plan to officially announced Rune Factory 3 there?

  • Well, about time! The US version has been out since last year’s November. And Nintendo still thinks it’s a brilliant idea to put the region lock on 3DS…

    Is it strange that this news leaked one day after I asked about this games EU-release in the RisingStarGames forums? xD

  • Congratulations to Europe! They deserve to get experience the best game yet in the series.

    This is the BEST game in the Rune Factory franchise; no, I can safely say that it’s the best game so far in the whole Harvest Moon mega-franchise.

    RF3 is the only HM-type game that managed to dethrone Friends of Mineral Town from its top spot as my favourite farming-dating-marrying-fishing-mining-sleeping simulator (now with extensive monster-battling, dungeon-exploring, and item-crafting!).

    Pia is my waifu… only because I couldn’t court Shino ;_;

    • How about Rune Factory Frontier? Aside from the backfired Runey mechanic, it was splendid for its first entry onto a home console. And Rune Factory Oceans is gonna be even better. [Glee!]
