No, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes Party Is Not A Mini-Game Collection

By Spencer . July 5, 2011 . 3:09am

imageFollowing in the footsteps of Sengoku Basara 2: Heroes, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes is getting an expanded re-release in Japan. Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes Party has a Sengoku dream chance mode that Capcom is keeping under wraps and a light hearted story. That’s why the PlayStation 3/Wii game has its name, not because its a mini-game collection.

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes Party adds a number of characters to the original game such as Hisahide Matsunaga, Sarutobi Sasuke, and Yoshiaki Mogami.

Capcom claims there is an overwhelming amount of volume added to this version. Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes Party comes out on PlayStation 3 and Wii this fall.

  • In case of an international release, I hope they’ll consider dual audio.

    • HavocAccelerator

Even though Samurai Heroes has one of the best dubs ever?

      •  There is no good dub without

        “ARE YA READY GUYYYYZ?!?!?!”

        “PUT THA GUNZ ON!!!”

        • blah blah

          ya ur rite
But it should be: “PUT YA GUNZ ON”
          Not “tha”

          • I think it’s in the spirit of Date Masamune to butcher english even more than he did.

Yeah, I’m very excited for this. I probably wont bother waiting for the US version this time. After finally playing it in english, I can’t say it coloured my opinion of the game all too much anyway. Unless there’s some kind of save-data cross over.

        • ForeverFidelis

          But the english version has

Except, this game probably won’t have Mitsunari in it.

          • Zal_Yagun

Why not? this game is the updated rerelease of the most recent game where he is the one of the main character. unless we are talking about the upcoming psp game…

          • ForeverFidelis

I misunderstood the post. It said it would add characters to the original game.

I thought they meant the first one, not the third

      • It has a pretty good dub, but I think its reasonable for a game set in Japan to include Japanese voices.

    • If Capcom released it for an international release, they’ll just do exactly what they did with Samurai Heroes.. keep the two the same, so that one won’t be overlooked to a “superior” version. D:

  • Should be DLC for West

  • Barrit

Capcom, please Put Ya Gunz On the right way this time and include dual audio. If not in the West, then at least an Asian release with Japanese voices and English subs.

Also, Kenshin and Kasuga playable please :)

  • Klaus00

I just knew it , Sarutobi sasuke playable , its been a while I played as him since Devil Kings …fine then Capcom…. IMPORT!
EDIT: Pls Capcom gimme Toshie Maeda, Kojuro and Hanbei x(

  • epy

Seems Samurai Heroes didn’t sell very well over here, hopefully Capcom considers to release it as DLC at least.

    • Zal_Yagun

FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU— If that happens, i may need to dump the wii version and get a ps3

  • Oh please let there be Katakura Kojūrō and Musashi Miyamoto, loved using them in Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes!

  • BGMcDF

It’s a Sengoku BASARA game, so I’m on board. Day one import. Also, hey Felecca.
