Looking forward to this, definitely my favorite rhythm game franchise.  Game doesn’t seem to translate as well to PSP controls as well as DJMax Portable though.

Would be nice to see a collection of post-14 Pop’n games see a retail console release someday. ><

This is the only game Is still keep on my UMD bag till now since the first time it’s out.

dlc option looks great, but hope it’s working overseas.

i hope konami make the control scheme similar to DJMAX series,…4,6,8 button instead of 5,7,9,which is illogical for psp control scheme

    • Its fine as long as you pretend 9 button mode doesnt exist, 7 button mode is confortingly similar to playing PNM on the PS2 on a dualshock

i never play pnm before and this is my first time to play other than arcades,…5,7,9 button is really strange considering psp button layout is like 3 on the left(left,up,right d-pad) and 3 on the right(square, triangle, circle) and i hate using l and r button for this type of game,….it like playing guitar hero without guitar controller

The control scheme actually makes perfect sense if you are comparing it to an actual pop’n controller.  Besides, if you don’t like the default controls, you can change them to whatever you want to best emulate DJ Max.

I love me some Pop’n. Great news!

  • Argh… that reminds me that I still need to import pop’n music Portable…
