Soulcalibur V’s Director Can’t Tease Anymore Or He’ll Be In Trouble

Namco Bandai will have Soulcalibur V news in two weeks when San Diego Comic-Con kicks off. At least two characters will be announced and Daishi Odashima, Director, shared silhouettes on Twitter.

Any guesses? We’ll be at Comic-Con and check to see if any of them are right!

Guy looks kinda like Raphael if he’d let his wardrobe upkeep go the last seventeen years. ‘Cept the hair looks a bit different, but again, seventeen years.

Girl definitely looks like she has Taki’s stance, but can’t see it being Taki. Cup size is too small. <.<; Maybe a younger ninja girl replacement.

Left really looks like Raphael. The right… Either a new girl, or grown up Talim. Cup too small for Taki, too happy looking for Tira, Maybe Xuanhua, doesn;t look like Soeng Mina, TOo young for Setsuna, too small for Ivy…

Hope it’s Tira~ The clothing outline seem too “skimpy” I guess would be a good word for them to be talim’s. I’m just going by the last SC, she wore some pretty out there kind of outfits lol I loved the cat one.

The one on the left does look like it could be Raphael.. That was my first guess when I saw it on twitter. Totally gives off the whole “vampire” look that he went with in IV.

The girl looks like a new character and it looks like she’s wearing geta. (It can’t really be Talim.. the hair’s totally different than her usual style. Unless she decided not to go with braids this time. Plus Talim should be 31/32 for V, so she’d probably have a slightly bigger bust size by then..?)

Almost certainly Raphael and Tira. From the pose and clothes I’d have guessed Talim or Xianghua, but the hair’s too messy and the boobs are too big for either of them…yes, even for a grown-up Talim; she was sixteen or so in the last game, and your breasts don’t grow a whole lot after that age unless you either gain a lot of weight, or have a lot of children.

the left is DEFINITELY Raphael, while the right is a bit difficult for me. But my guess is that its either Amy or Tira. Possibly Talim but not likely. Hope Talim returns though :3

Tira and Raphael…The more characters that are revealed for this game the more I question the 20 year time jump. It’s rapidly becoming redundant when half the cast are either immortal and the only 2 ‘new’ characters don’t seem all that different.

  Just because the weapon isn’t there, doesn’t mean it can’t be older characters. Not all promotional artworks will always show what weapons characters will have. PLUS Odashima ALSO said some characters might get new weapons. (Tho.. Raphael NEEDS his rapier to be such a cheap character again.)
