Dead Rising 2 Save Data Unlocks Costume For Frank In Off The Record

By Spencer . July 24, 2011 . 7:41pm

dr2 Dead Rising 2: Off the Record has a small bonus for fans that played Dead Rising 2. If you have Dead Rising 2 save data you’ll begin the game with Chuck Greene’s jacket. It’s one of the many costumes Frank West can wear in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

Gamestop also has a Cosplay Warrior outfit, which gives Frank West special attacks when he’s armed with the practice sword and shield. This costume also gives Frank 25% extra PP after each attack.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record comes out on October 11 in North America and October 14 in Europe.

Well, I’m glad I saved that data. Though I’m sure to delete it all eventually.

not sure if i’ll even buy this one, seems like an extended version of the downloadable titles. a chuck greene outfit? expected something more epic.

What a weird bonus. “We’ve heard your voices for wanting to play as Frank again. So we’re giving you an outfit that makes you look like Chuck!”

Not saying that it’s back (I’m sure they’ll include some bonuses into the outfit), but I figured they’d just have in a secret location.

Though I won’t lie, that Cosplay Warrior outfit is awesome, plus the fact it helps you level up faster just adds to the coolness.

“”We’ve heard your voices for wanting to play as Frank again. That gives us a reason to release the same game yet again like we have with all our other recent franchises.  Yes!!”

      Fixed.  :P

Capcom rereleases the same game so much I’m beginning to think they merged with EA Sports recently. I’m just waiting until we start seeing Street Fighter 4 ’12, Street Fighter 4 ’13, etc.

Works for me been looking forward to this since it was announced. I liked Chuck as a character but missed the photography aspect of DR1.
