During Namco Bandai’s fighting game panel at Comic-Con, Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada unveiled Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue Version. This bonus is part of the Tekken Hybrid Blu-ray movie/game disc slated for release in North America later this year.
Harada brought a video of the game which showed Alisa, Xiaoyu, and Devil Kazuya (not Devil) fighting. "It’s actually, Devil Kazuya," Harada said during a Siliconera interview. "He is in the arcade since Kazuya, when you input a certain command, he can transform into the Devil form and he has all of the moves the Devil had like laser beams. That’s the character you saw."
"The model is different because no one has ever seen that form before, it was from the animation [Tekken Blood Vengeance] and done specially for the [Tekken Tag Tournament 2] Prologue Version." Alisa and Xiaoyu also have outfits from Tekken Blood Vengeance in Prologue Version plus their Tekken Tag Tournament 2 costumes.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue Version has one more playable character, which Haruda is keeping a secret for now.
