Wizardry: Labyrinth Of Lost Souls Crawls Onto iPhone & iPad

By Spencer . July 25, 2011 . 1:00am

wizaipAcquire is making a portable version of Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls. You’ll be able to dive into dungeons this week when the game is available in Apple’s iTunes store.

Oh, and the iOS version is free.

This is a port of the PlayStation 3 title, which Xseed localized for North America. As of now, this announcement is only for Japan. Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is compatible with iPhone 4, iPad, and 4th generation iPod Touch devices.

I know there are a many Japanese games on iphone (and I’m sure Android too), but how many got localized?  One of these years I may get whatever Apple has for gaming.

I just put over 25 hours this past weekend on my PS3. Didn’t think I would like it would keep my attention so long. Every time I was getting close to getting powned on the next floor down I would get a weapon upgrade that would let me clear the floor NP. A few times this happened and I seem to think this was more then just coincidence. Worth the $15 on PSN for me, that DLC however is a bit pricey so I’ll wait for it to drop. Thanks Xseed.

DLC doesn’t usually drop in price, does it?

There has been sales on DLC in the past, most are just temporary though.

I can see myself playing this more on my iPad than my PS3 anyway..
