A Certain Scientific Railgun Game Has A Mix Of Girls Talk And 3D Action

By Spencer . July 26, 2011 . 1:55am

railgun ASCII Media Works and Kadokawa Games are working on A Certain Scientific Railgun for PSP. Thanks to Dengeki PlayStation, we finally have a few details about it.

A Certain Scientific Railgun has two gameplay phases. In Girls Talk players talk to several characters and gather topics which can be used during conversations. The game then shifts to action mode, which is described as a 3D action game. Kadokawa Games also included anime scenes to watch that follow after the game’s action part.

A Certain Scientific Railgun is slated for release on November 24.

I read “Girl Talk”, singular, and thought it had to do with some awesome music mashup.

    Oh well.

I never was a fan of the Railgun sidestory but I definitely am a fan of the girls and this sounds like a action sim date…without the “dating” will wait for more on this~

maybe you mean index side story?

      • https://twitter.com/RaiohV ShinkaRaioh

It is an Index side story with the name Railgun~

hope this didn’t get another delay, the limited edition with kuroko figma is really tempting.

kadokawa anime game (and visual novel) line up is getting bigger

if capcom wanted to milk another versus game they should try make kadokawa vs capcom next time, that way maybe i can play as biri bii in proper fighting game

Is this that same one that is the fighting game? I think I saw a youtube video of it awhile back.

Nice!  Hopefully the 3D action elements aren’t tacked on because the game, from screen shots before, looked like a typical visual adventure game.  Not, that I’ll be playing it too much though as I just wanted the Kuroko figma that comes with the limited edition.

I really liked Railgun, too bad this will probably not make it to the USA.

This…actually sounds fun. Love games where women are in charge.

kinda hoping for less Touma tho, and more Kuroko

So i guess we are misaka? … i wouldnt mind being touma, and getting endings with the girls… mhhmmmm… MUWAHAHHAHAA

I bought the Index fighting game. Apparently you need this Railgun Visual Novel game savefile to unlock Mikoto’s route at Index… if you do it legally. You can trick the psp by manually adding a folder that the Railgun game would create if used… someone probably hacked the code to get it, but in the end just knowing the name is enough.

That said… as much as I like the Railgun cast… a Visual Novel I’ll have to pass.

Me wants railgun some ass. The Index game wasn’t THAT bad but, if only they polished the controls and other stuff (like the final attacks)…
