Class Of Heroes Looking For Extra Credit With Series Finale

By Spencer . July 26, 2011 . 6:24pm

image Acquire is ending three Class of Heroes terms with a new PSP title called Class of Heroes Final: Freshman is a Princess! The dungeon crawling series has its roots in Wizardry, but replaces fantasy art for cutesy characters and classes like pop idol. Atlus brought the first PSP game overseas, but did not pick up future titles.

This release is supposed to be a finale for the Class of Heroes series. Taking a cue from Class of Heroes 3D, Class of Heroes Final lets players exchange party members through an ad-hoc connection. Acquire also added a new system based on Modial Academy. Fans who have save data from Class of Heroes 1, 2 or 3 will start the game with a special items in their inventory. Acquire plans to sell additional weapons and armor on the PlayStation Store

Class of Heroes Final: Freshman is a Princess! is 80% complete, but does not have a release date. Screenshots have not been released either, the picture in the article is from Class of Heroes 3.

    The finale, eh? Love this series so I’m all ears for any upcoming news. Here’s hoping we actually get classes like Delinquent, Class President and Disciplinary Committee.

    Hey, just saying. The third game had a “tsundere class” only fair.

       we didn’t get 2 and 3d though T.T

        Indeed, But that didn’t stop me from (heavily) following the the information on them before and after that. Don’t have much of a (positive) opinion on the second but the third really set the bar and found a very nice balance between the first two games.

        That said, the third game (PSP) is getting a best price version coming soon. I’ve been waiting for this day so I intend on importing.

    Selling weapons and armor for a dungeon crawler on the PSN store?

    Can’t say I approve of that, but it’s not as if it’s mandatory.

      It’s sadly becoming more and more standard in every game out there.  I don’t think I’ll really get upset about it till it happens to something I know I’d buy, like mech parts in an AC game.  I wouldn’t think From would do that to me, but now that they’re published by Namdai the horror of the idea is enough to startle me.

    Really, really wish we’d get the rest of these games. The PS3 game looks especially interesting, what with the character creation, but I hear it wasn’t as good.

    Stupid PSP. >=(
