Konami Bringing Super Scribblenauts To Japan

By Spencer . July 27, 2011 . 3:50pm

imageAnd this time they’re keeping the game’s original name. A Japanese localized version of Super Scribblenauts is due in stores on October 13.

Konami added some neat Easter eggs like the Vic Viper, Snake, and Manaka from LovePlus to their version of Scribblenauts or as its known in Japan Maxwell’s Marvelous Notepad. Definitely curious to see what Konami characters will make cameos in the Nintendo DS sequel.

    Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah!
I wonder how Cthulhu is spelt in Japanese.

      Kuturuhu, クトゥルフ.

      Kinda straightforward, really.

        :O Amazing.

I would think something like クスル would fit better, but Japanizations don’t always make a lot of sense.

Man, talk about a tough game to localize.  Good on Konami for spreading this game to Asia.
