Ready For A Kinect Powered Air Band?

imageBecause that’s one of the upcoming widgets for Kinect Fun Labs. While Microsoft hasn’t announced this gadget, Germany’s USK rated Kinect Fun Labs – Air Band.

 

Right now, Kinect Fun Labs has applications like an avatar maker, Googly Eyes, and Kinect Sparkler.

    When Francis MacDougall & I invented our video gesture control tech 25 years ago it was partly to step on stage and become musicians with virtual instruments; I spent 15 years performing in virtual reality around the world; when we invent video gesture control with 3D depth cameras in 2000 we saw this as the next step for virtual performance and when we licensed our technology and patent to Microsoft for video gesture control on the XBOX we had hoped some company would create an air band app. I’m glad to see it is finally coming.
