Ragnarok Online Re-imagined As A Strategy RPG

That’s the premise of Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark from GungHo. They turned the online RPG into a portable strategy RPG. We’ve seen the characters before, these videos demonstrate the battle system.

          Oh def. Back when I was a guildmaster, I did it all the time since most of the guild members were mages and FS acolytes and other such wimpy classes compared to my BUFF, MANLY MONK.

          The real reason monks don’t use weapons is to have their hands free to carry more stuff. True story.

        Yeah, but the transition from the manwha to the online game was great – all the characters looked cute and stuff. Here we have a transition from great sprites to ugly 3d models.

          Eh, it’s not that bad.

          If anything is criminal about it it is how -slow- everything is. Ragnarok Online is a very brisk game.

            The slow pace is one of the things bothering me about this game so far. Another is the graphics, mainly because I’m just having a hard time getting used to it.
