One Piece: Gigant Battle 2 New World takes place after the time skip and has a new main mode. As seen in Jump, new world conquest mode has players move on a 3D map and capture islands. Each area ends with a boss fight. Win and you control the territory.
Namco Bandai’s sequel supports Wi-Fi battles, tag mode (DS style wireless passing, not 3DS StreetPass), and even has a feature where you can transfer data from the previous game into the One Piece: Gigant Battle sequel.
When One Piece: Gigant Battle 2 comes out on November 17, fans will be able to pick up a special edition which comes in a pirate themed box. In addition to the Nintendo DS game, this package has an extra large 25 cm. Luffy figure. The limited edition will retail for 7,800 yen ($100). A standalone game is 5,230 yen ($67).
