24 Reasons To Get Solatorobo: Red The Hunter At Launch

By Spencer . August 9, 2011 . 11:35am

4Xseed is bundling Solatorobo: Red the Hunter with one a goodie from Japan. First print copies in North America include a 24 track soundtrack CD, which Namco Bandai offered as a pre-order bonus.

According to Xseed, the CD has a mix of playful tunes that match the game’s light-hearted dialogue (see picture on right) and an orchestral score for Solatorobo: Red the Hunter’s epic battles.

In Solatorobo: Red the Hunter you play as Red Savarin, an adventurer for hire who travels through the skies and throws crates at enemies with his mecha. Similar to Tail Concerto, CyberConnect2’s game is filled with dog and cat people. Bruno Dondurma, leader of the Kurvaz organization and master of intimidation is one of the foes you’ll face in September when Solatorobo: Red the Hunter comes out in North America.

I actually may buy this game before I buy a DS.

  • I 100% recommend this game to anyone with a DS, it’s a bit okay during the 1st half but i’m on the 2nd half now and it is AMAZING

  • I was going to get this soon after release anyways, but thank you XSEED for the bonus CD. ^__^

  • I ordered it on Amazon, but will it still come with the game?

    • Kaoro

If it is a first-print bundle and included in the package (the Siliconera post makes it sound like this is the case), then your Amazon preorder will include the disc.

  • Those must be some pretty damn good songs if each track counts as a reason to buy it.

  • I was getting the game regardless but adding a free soundtrack is even better.

I already finished the game (though there are still some quests to do) and it was good.
First some people were jealous, because Europe got the game first, and now NA gets a preorder bonus. -_-
So… who’s gonna sell his soundtrack CD? ^^

We only get the OST…!? oAo

  • What are the odds of getting Tail Concerto for PSN?  The game is expensive. :(

  • Definite Day 1 for me. Even though I previously missed out on the original Tail Concerto, I look forward to the day Namco Bandai will UL it as a PSN classic outside of Japan; after all, their combined Dragonball and Naruto profits will be more than enough to cover the cost of putting Tail Concerto on the PSN.

Alright I’ll be pre-ordering. I’ve been gradually getting more interested in this title since I first saw a post on it. Not sure I’ll have time to play it right away, but I’ll get it right away.

  • I remember playing the living junk out of Tail Concerto on a PlayStation Underground demo. Those things were AMAZING back in the day!

  • Hold on, is my copy of Tail Concerto on the PS1 worth something?

  • XSeed, trust me when I say this: I’m only waiting until next month to pre-order:) This is a must buy for me (I bought every major DS game in the last few months; Monster Tale, Okamiden, DQVI and Radiant Historia are all currently in my play rotation). I cannot WAIT for this game!

Also, Kirby’s Mass Attack. But I know you guys care less about that:)

Eh, what the heck? I’ll go buy pre-order it now on Amazon! After missing out on Radiant Historia’s CD, I’ve vowed never to skip out on preorder bonuses from great publishers like Atlus and XSeed anymore.
