Rebuild Of Evangelion: 3nd Impact Videos Silently Slip Out

By Spencer . August 9, 2011 . 2:05am

Two new gameplay videos of Rebuild of Evangelion: 3nd Impact snuck on the Internet, but they’re missing, perhaps, the most important element – sound. They’re silent because videos with music are quickly removed. Other clips, even those on the official site, are locked to Japanese IP addresses only due to copyright issues.

Looks like importers are not going to see much of Grasshopper Manufacture’s music game before its September 29 release date.

    How does one pronounce “3nd”?

Your guess is as good as mine.

It’s a word play, it should be sound, ’cause Japanese 3 is pronounced “san”, so Sand = Sound, the Japanese I tell you…

While clever, if they keep the title for localization most would probably think it is Engrish. lol

          In other words…never coming here

from the previous trailer, i believe it’s “sound”. because third in japanese is saado. mix third with -nd and engrish you’ll get sound

The katakana backs that up- both clips are titled “saundo” Impact.

“Saundo” actually makes sense. I can read katakana but I guessed I missed that on the video descriptions. Thanks for the replies, everyone!

First video looks like something you control with a touch screen.

Anyways hope it is good, may import (or maybe somebody will surprise me with a localization given it is a music game may not be so hard to pick up?)
