Gust’s Ghost With The Most Meets Up With Meruru

By Spencer . August 11, 2011 . 2:30pm

Three friends can join Meruru for tea and puni punishing. Gust made Rufes, Pamela Ibis, and Juana playable characters in Atelier Meruru. You can add these to Meruru’s party by purchasing downloadable content from Japan’s PlayStation Store.

Meruru’s Rorona costume is a bit rarer. Dengeki PlayStation included a code for the outfit in their latest issue and as of now it’s the only way to get it.

Gust fans, just a little reminder that Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland is on its way. NIS America will release it in North America on September 27.

  • Pamela!

    Aww, loli!Rorona filling Sterk’s teacup….

  • my god the game looks great.I cant wait to see new ateliers with this improved engine

  • Rather lucky cameraman if you ask me. Oh, the sights were great, needless to say.

    • Guest

      It was controlled by Pedobear

  • So cute. Although i feel like pervert looking close-up at Juana’s boobs and ass.

    • Kibbitz

Signs that their marketing is working =)

    • PrinceHeir

      ohh Juana :P

  • アキラ

    Must haveeeeee.

  • Wonderful. Just wonderful.

Improved graphics and visuals, a more complex battle system, great boss-fight music, finishers with a giant moon in the background, lots of swords, a gigantic Uni, a pink bunny-head bomb, and – last, but not least – Lolina firing a giant celestial laser.

The only thing that can make it better is Pamela going into battle possessing a giant armored pimped-out teddy-bear.

    • That being said… am I the only one thinking of some ulterior motive on Gust’s side in shots of Juana plucking a mushroom?

      • Neckbear

You were not. Not only that, but Juana’s whole scene was rather…questionable.

On that note, GUST has also improved their breast physics by a ton. They truly live up to the title of Japanese developer, it seems!

  • DanteJones

    That Juana.  ( *-*)/

  • Learii

who the little girl in the 2nd  video its that Rorona? if its is why she look so little?

    • Guest

She got accidently wished back to a kid like grandpa Goku did in Dragonball GT. Same reasoning: developers dont want an ‘old’ hero blah blah. That’s really the only lame thing I find about this game because thats such an old reused Anime trope.

      • Learii

        oh ok thx

  • Ian

I have one word to say EPIC!!!!

  • neocatzon

    Rorona.. she found triforce?

  • Ben Tan

    pamela ftw! umbrella of death!

  • Kai2591

    I like that first vid~

  • AzureNova

The Atelier series is amazing and always will be, and I cant wait to get my hands on the entire trilogy! Hey, that rhymed lol.

  • Mr_SP

Uh… What, exactly, is Meruru’s preference? Because her camera shots are… very fanservicey.

And the Rorona costume… If she wasn’t wearing bloomers, I’d call it flashing. The costume is not even remotely fitting.

Whats the point of the 2D avatar stills for the conversations if the 3D cel shaded models look and animate so nice? (well except for mouths not moving) It’s a PS3 not a PS2 use it’s power. I dunno thats just kinda weird to me. It’s like extra work for them when its not really needed. Or if they really want to do that, use 2D motion portrait?

  • I love those character models. They just look so good! Haha. I love Juana. She’s always so cheerful. Yay for DLC and a free downloadable area!
As much as I want an older Rorona, I’m fine with the way things are now too :X
Darn it. I’m gonna miss Arland. Although they did say that the door on Arland wouldn’t be closed forever. Maybe we’ll get a few spin-offs or something?
