Ninja Gaiden 3 Supports PlayStation Move For Swordplay

By Spencer . August 16, 2011 . 10:31am

Team Ninja lead Yosuke Hayashi really wants people to feel what it’s like to cut through flesh and bone. Ninja Gaiden 3 will utilize PlayStation Move motion control to put Ryu’s katana in a player’s hand.

"Ninja Gaiden 3 is all about slicing and chopping through flesh and bone and PlayStation Move bring players even closer to the game’s protagonist Ryu Hayabusa.  The game will be compatible with all Move peripherals and it will feature full compatibility with this exciting new hardware," Hayashi said in a press release. Ninja Gaiden 3 also has traditional button controls too.

Ninja Gaiden 3 is slated for release in early 2012 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Ummm… this doesn’t really suit the hectic fighting seen in the previous titles. At all, in my opinion.

    • I don’t think it’d really fit either. But it’s just an option, so I guess that’s good. :D

I dunno…for me…though its a FPS…using MOVE on MAG is harder than a standard controller so I’d say it’s reversed. If NG retains any of its quick ninja reflex difficulty, then the Move might be harder to master for a “casual”.

  • Sounds as fun as playing Kororinpa with a keyboard.

I don’t know about this. The game already left a horrible taste in my mouth at E3. I might just stick with the second one.

      Only a Ninja…..can kill a Ninja….

NG3 with Move? Unless you can control the direction of slicing like MGS Rising (which I doubt), this would suck terribly.

In that regard, MGS Rising should really have Move support.
