In Less Than A Month, You Can Play White Knight Chronicles II

By Spencer . August 17, 2011 . 5:01pm

White Knight Chronicles II is already available in Europe. When is Level-5’s RPG coming to North America? September 13, says D3Publisher.

This game actually has two games on one disc. You get a retooled version of White Knight Chronicles plus the sequel. Played White Knight Chronicles? There’s an option to skip it, a feature the Japanese version didn’t have. D3Publisher also included some downloadable content released this past January in Japan as on-disc content.

When you log on to White Knight Chronicles II the online part should be populated since North American and European players are on the same server.

  • Cutting it a little short. They need to whip out the promo and (more) screenshots NAO! Also, wonder if we will get the same box art as EU.

  • Elite troll. Heh

Oh, awesome~. I’ve been wondering about this.

I was tempted to finally start my copy of WKC, but then figured nah, but now I think I’ll just go ahead and play and see how far I get~. It’ll help me get more excited for this. ♥

Been waiting a while to play this now. Does anyone remember when he smashed the DMV on the show Megus XLR? When I think of White Knight Chronicles, I sometimes picture myself doing that in my Knight. No one likes the DMV lol

  • PrinceHeir

    argh too many games O____O

oh well might buy this next year though sadly :(

  • nyobzoo

nice to hear US & EU are the same server

  • Wackoramaco87

I was really interested in this game, but after reading the reviews on it, I may end up waiting to purchase it when it goes on sale. Though I’m glad to read that US and EU servers are the same, that should be fun!

Have this pre-ordered. Let the JRPG onslaught begin.

  • I feel like, even though WKC received middling reviews, I gotta give WKC2 a shot. Level 5 clearly understands RPGs – both western and eastern style -, and WKC is a series that combines elements of both. This sequels sounds like they made some serious improvements, and that the value has been bumped up significantly thanks to the 2-for-1 disc, plus DLC.

Would I rather see a new Dark Cloud, or Ninokuni PS3? Sure. But that doesn’t mean I won’t appreciate WKC2 for what it is, if it’s good enough. Also, with Xenoblade not coming to the ‘states, I’ll have to look elsewhere for that kinda game. I think White Knight fits that bill.

Really wish they had added the japanese voices on this. The japanese cast is all star. Being an JRPG completist, I’ll end up getting it, but certainly not Day 1 for me now.

  • Zero_Destiny

I’m glad they let the European and North American gamers play together. I’m still on the fence about the title myself but if I do get it I’m really glad that I can play with some of my friends in the UK. That’s honestly one of the reasons that I think I want the game.

    SotC, ICO, Totori, and this…..

    September, what the f……..

  • I have a question dudes, do you have to create your own avatar?, can I just skip that part and play without creating the damn thing?
